On March 15, Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian received Ardiana Hobdari, the newly appointed Ambassador of Albania to Armenia (residence in Athens) on the occasion of handing over the copies of her credentials.

Congratulating Ambassador Hobdari on her appointment, Deputy Foreign Minister wished her success in carrying out her diplomatic mission in Armenia, expressing hope that the Ambassador, with her active work, would give a new impetus to the bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador Hobdari assured that she would spare no efforts to intensify the cooperation between Armenia and Albania and advance it in various directions.

The interlocutors touched upon the issues related to political dialogue, cooperation in international structures, development of trade and economic relations, cooperation in educational and cultural spheres, as well as the expansion of legal framework. They discussed the preparations for the Summit of La Francophonie to be held in Yerevan in October.

At the meeting, Garen Nazarian touched upon the process of settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as regional developments.
