Edward Nalbandian, Foreign Minister, Chairman-in-Office of the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie, who is in Paris on a working visit, met with Henry Rabary-Njaka, Foreign Minister of Madagascar, which chairs the OIF, and Michaëlle Jean, Secretary General of the International Organization of La Francophonie.

At the meeting, the sides discussed in a detailed manner the preparatory works for La Francophonie Summit, Ministerial Conference, the Permanent Council and the related events to be held in Yerevan on October 7-12.

Michaëlle Jean, Edward Nalbandian and Henry Rabary-Njaka touched upon the issues of the content of the Summit - the documents to be adopted, and the main directions of the discussions.

The interlocutors exchanged views on a number of directions of the activities of La Francophonie.
