Edward Nalbandian met Alan Duncan

On April 9, acting Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met Alan Duncan, UK Minister of State for Europe and the Americas, who is in Armenia on a working visit.

Greeting the guest, Edward Nalbandian thanked the UK Minister of State for attending the inauguration ceremony of the new President of Armenia and noted that this meeting is a good opportunity to discuss issues of Armenian-British agenda and to touch upon the course of implementation of the previously reached agreements.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Minister of State Duncan noted that he is glad to be in Armenia again after his official visit to Yerevan last September and hoped that this visit too will contribute to the development of Armenian-British relations.

During the meeting the interlocutors touched upon a number of directions of Armenian-British relations, exchanged views on promoting bilateral trade and economic ties.

Edward Nalbandian and Alan Duncan discussed a number of urgent regional and international issues.

The acting Foreign Minister Nalbandian presented to the Secretary of State Duncan the joint efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries towards peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
