On April 12, acting Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian received the delegation of the International Organization of La Francophonie headed by Jean-Louis Atangana Amougou, the director of the office of the Secretary General.

The preparations for the Summit of La Francophonie and related events to be held in Yerevan in October were on the agenda and were thoroughly discussed.

In that context, members of the OIF delegation presented to Edward Nalbandian the results of the meetings with various state institutions and organizations in Yerevan and the agreements reached. Members of the delegation of the OIF Secretariat noted with satisfaction that all the planned activities are being carried out according to the schedule, some issues are settled even before the deadlines.

Expressing gratitude for the comprehensive support of the OIF Secretariat with regards the issues relating to preparation of the summit, Edward Nalbandian underlined that Armenia mobilized all the resources to organize the summit of La Francophonie in Yerevan at the highest level.
