Newly appointed Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is receiving congratulatory messages

Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan is receiving congratulations on the occasion of assuming the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Masis Mayilyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh congratulates the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Armenia and expresses conviction that the cooperation established between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Artsakh will be continued and strengthened even further.

In his congratulatory message addressed to Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov notes that he is looking forward to a close cooperation aimed at further strengthening of the Armenian-Russian allied relations and effective cooperation over regional and international issues.

Congratulating Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister of China mentions that Armenian-Chinese friendly relations underwent sustainable and continuous development in recent years.

Wishing success to the Foreign Minister of Armenia, Foreign Minister of Georgia Mikheil Janelidze in his message expresses hope that the successful cooperation forged between Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Georgia will be further developed and strengthened.

Tudor Ulyanovsky, Foreign Minister of Moldova expresses hope that the joint efforts of the Foreign Ministries of the two countries will further promote the development of traditionally friendly ties and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland, while extending good wishes to the newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, notes that recent developments in Armenia show that the reforms implemented with the support of the Council of Europe are taking roots and expresses the readiness of the Council of Europe to continue assisting Armenia in this direction.

Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makey in his message addressed to Zohrab Mnatsakanyan expresses hope that the cooperation between Foreign Ministries of two countries and the collaboration within international platforms will be persistent and continuous.

Expressing good wishes to his Armenian colleague, Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius, in his congratulatory message values Armenia's participation to the Eastern Partnership and highlights the importance of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the EU.

Foreign Minister of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs expresses his gratitude to former Minister Edward Nalbandian for the joint work, congratulates Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and looks forward to a close cooperation in bilateral, Armenia-EU and Eastern Partnership formats.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan received congratulations upon his appointment as Foreign Minister from Yuri Khachaturov, the CSTO Secretary General, who expresses hope that Armenia, with its important initiatives, will continue to be one of the most active members of the organization.

Congratulatory messages were also received from Ara Vardanyan, the Executive Director of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, Berge Setrakian, the President of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), Caroline Shmavonian, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Armenian Relief Society and others.
