On May 26 Ambassador of Armenia to Canada Levon Martirosyan participated in the official ceremony of raising the flag of the Republic of Armenia at the City Hall of Laval, Province of Quebec, Canada. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of City of Laval Marc Demers and Members of Council, MPs, Ministers of the Province of Quebec and representatives of the Armenian National Committee of Canada.

On May 28, in Toronto, with the presence of Mayor of Toronto John Tory and Members of the City Council, the Armenian Community of Toronto organized an official flag raising ceremony at the City Hall of Toronto and the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

Ambassador Martirosyan delivered a speech to the audience and signed in the honorary guest book of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

At the end of the event Mayor Tory and Ambassador Martirosyan discussed the latest developments in Armenia and bilateral economic agenda.
