Foreign Minister of Armenia had a meeting with members of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee

On June 1, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with members of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of Armenia, upon the initiative of Armen Ashotyan, Chairman the Foreign Affairs Committee. At the invitation of Armen Ashotyan, Arsen Kharatyan, Adviser to the Prime Minister, and Tevan Poghosyan, Advisor to the President, also attended the meeting.

Minister Mnatsakanyan presented to the members of parliament the priorities and main directions of Armenia’s foreign policy while stressing their continuous nature.

Touching upon the process of peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, Minister Mnatsakanyan noted that Artsakh’s status and security assurance are Armenia’s priorities in the negotiation process.

In the course of the meeting Minister Mnatsakanyan answered the questions related to the different directions of foreign policy and the MFA activities.
