Foreign Minister of Armenia meets with the Armenian students studying in Moscow

On May 7, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, who is in Moscow on a working visit, met with the Armenian students studying at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Welcoming the students, Foreign Minister Mnatsakanyan expressed confidence that the qualified professional education received at such prestigious educational institutions as the Diplomatic Academy and MGIMO provides a profound knowledge and a solid foundation for their future activities ether in diplomatic or other fields.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan underscored that he also studied at the Moscow State Institute of International Relation and noted that these prestigious educational institutions of international relations had hundreds of Armenian alumni, many of whom played an important role in the establishment of diplomatic service of the newly independent Armenia, and currently they are distinguished by high their professional qualities and skills both in the central apparatus of the Ministry and in the diplomatic missions of Armenia abroad.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia briefed the Armenian students on the main directions and priorities of country’s foreign policy, the approaches of Armenia on issues of international and regional importance, touched upon the allied relations and strategic partnership between Armenia and Russia, as well as the meetings held during his visit and their outcome.

At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Minister of Armenia answered numerous questions of the students.
