On June 25, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a phone conversation with the newly appointed Foreign Minister of Georgia David Zalkaliani.

Congratulating his counterpart on the occasion of assuming the post of Foreign Minister of friendly Georgia, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan wished David Zalkaliani success in his important mission and reiterated the readiness of the Armenian side to continue the joint work aimed at further deepening of bilateral cooperation.

Expressing gratitude for good wishes and congratulations, the newly-appointed Foreign Minister of Georgia noted that he highly appreciates the relations, that have been historically shaped between our two peoples and states.

Touching upon the official visit of the Armenian Prime Minister to Georgia, both sides underlined that the visit and the agreements reached during that visit create a solid foundation for further strengthening and expansion of bilateral relations.

The interlocutors exchanged views on cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
