On July 18, Ruben Rubinyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia, Arsen Kharatyan, Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and Tigran Balayan, spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry met with about two dozen journalists representing Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Moldova.

In the course of the meeting the speakers presented priorities and main directions of Armenia's foreign policy, as well as touched upon the foreign policy provisions present in the programme of the new government.

Ruben Rubinyan, Arsen Kharatyan and Tigran Balayan replied to numerous questions of reporters concerning Armenia's approaches to urgent regional and international issues, efforts towards peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as Armenia's foreign policy in bilateral and multilateral formats.
