On July 19,  Garen Nazarian, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia received Daphne Bergsma, Director of the Europe Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Armenia Johannes Dauma also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting the sides discussed a number of issues of bilateral agenda. Both sides attached importance to the maintenance and enhancement of the positive dynamics of Armenian-Dutch cooperation in multilateral formats. The interlocutors touched upon Armenia-EU cooperation, including the process of ratification of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement by the EU member states.

Nazarian and Bergsma exchanged views on recent political developments in Armenia. The importance of the successful implementation of large-scale reforms declared as a priority by the Government of Armenia has been underscored. The interlocutors exchanged views on regional issues.
