On July 27, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Garen Nazarian received Jean-Marc Bertone, Advisor to the President of France. The Ambassador of France to Armenia Jonathan Lacôte also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting the sides touched upon the Pashinyan-Macron meeting held earlier in Brussels, the preparations for the Summit of la Francophonie to be held in Yerevan in October, as well as issues related to the upcoming state visit of the President of France to Armenia.

The interlocutors commended the course of substantive interstate dialogue in the political and economic spheres, and discussed the agenda of the Armenian-French cooperation in the areas of education, science and culture.
