On September 10, Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian received Stefano Lazzarottо, the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to the Republic of Armenia, on the occasion of handing over the copies of his credentials.

At the meeting, Garen Nazarian congratulated the Ambassador upon his appointment, wishing him a fruitful and effective tenure aimed at developing and expanding the  multifaceted relations between the two countries. Deputy Minister underscored the importance of development assistance projects implemented in various spheres by Switzerland, who is an important partner of Armenia, and which contribute to the consistency of social-economic reforms in Armenia. In this regard the Deputy Minister highlighted the effective contacts of Armenia and Switzerland within international and regional structures.

In his turn, Ambassador Lazzarotto assured that he is ready to make efforts aimed at expanding the bilateral agenda to further deepen the Armenian-Swiss political and economic dialogue.
