On September 10, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a telephone conversation with Mélanie Joly,  the Canadian Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie.

The interlocutors touched upon the preparations for the Francophonie Yerevan Summit, the planned events, the agenda and the documents to be submitted to the participants for approval. Minister Mnatsakanyan reiterated the commitment of the Armenian authorities to conduct this important event at the highest level.

The Minister presented the priorities of the upcoming Armenian chairmanship and specifically highlighted as a priority area the smart development and digital agenda, as well as the promotion of cooperation within this framework.
