On September 11, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan received George Tsereteli, the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

The issues related to the activities of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly were touched upon during the meeting. In this regard, the role of the parliamentary platform in promoting the international cooperation has been underlined.

Minister Mnatsakanyan presented the efforts of Armenia on the international arena aimed at the prevention of genocide and crimes against humanity, as well as the fight against denialism. He highlighted the importance of fulfilling the commitment of the OSCE PA with regards genocides education and commemoration.

Touching upon the approaches and priorities of the Armenian side with regards the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Foreign Minister highlighted the necessity of excluding attempts to shift the settlement process to other platforms, including the parliamentary ones, stressing that the only format that has the international mediation mandate is the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship.
