On September 26, in New York, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia  Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura.

The interlocutors touched in details upon developments in Syria, exchanged views on the humanitarian situation in the country and possible steps to improve it.

Minister Mnatsakanyan noted that Armenia has repeatedly expressed its serious concern over the crisis in Syria and the security of our compatriots in Syria. He stressed that Armenia is ready to continue and expand the humanitarian mission aimed at addressing the urgent needs of the Syrian Armenian community.
