The newly appointed Ambassador of Croatia to Armenia presented copies of his credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian

On November 19, Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian received newly appointed Ambassador of Croatia (residence in Athens) Aleksandar Sunko, who presented copies of his credentials.

Congratulating Ambassador Sunko on the commencement of his diplomatic mission, the Deputy Foreign Minister expressed hope that the Ambassador’s work will give new impetus to the strengthening of bilateral relations.

The interlocutors touched upon the importance of stimulating political dialogue, deepening cooperation between foreign ministries, expanding collaboration within international organizations, enlarging trade and economic ties as well as the necessity of creating interparliamentary contacts.

The Deputy Foreign Minister attached importance to the swift ratification of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement by Croatia. At the Ambassador’s request, Garen Nazarian discussed regional developments and Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement.

Expressing gratitude for a warm reception, the Croatian Ambassador assured that he will exert his utmost efforts to deepen and enhance bilateral relations between the countries in all areas.
