On December 5, on the sidelines of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Milan, Acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov. It was preceded by the meeting of the head of the Armenian Foreign Ministry with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Stéphane Visconti, Igor Popov, Andrew Schofer, and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk.

The third meeting of the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers was also aimed at getting acquainted to the extent possible with one another’s positions on and approaches to the peace process. In this regard the interlocutors had a useful exchange of views.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov agreed to continue holding meetings in the near future, preserving the existing dynamics.
