On March 1, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the United States Lynne M. Tracy on the occasion of presenting her credentials.

Minister Mnacakanyan congratulated Lynne Tracy upon assuming this responsible mission and expressed hope that newly-appointed Ambassador will have her important contribution on the further development of the Armenian-US multifaceted relations.

The sides touched upon a wide range of issues related to the Armenia-United States partnership.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia also briefed Ambassador Tracy on the recent internal political developments and the process of reforms being implemented on the basis of broad popular mandate, in that context highlighting the continuous cooperation with international partners.

Minister Mnatsakanyan and Ambassador Tracy also exchanged views on international and regional urgent issues.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs presented to the US Ambassador the approaches and the principled position on peaceful resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
