On October 15, Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan had a meeting with his Georgian counterpart David Zalkaliani, who is in Armenia as part of a delegation led by Prime  Minister of Georgia Giorgi Gakharia.

The sides touched upon a number of issues of mutual interest. Foreign Ministers reiterated their mutual readiness to deepen the centuries-old friendship between the two countries in all possible respects, outlining the framework of steps to be taken in that direction.

The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia exchanged views on cooperation and dialogue with the EU within the Eastern Partnership framework.

The parties discussed in detail the regional situation and issues. The parties stressed the importance of maintaining regional peace, security and stability.
