On December 5, Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsaknayn, who is in Bratislava on a working visit, participated in the Ministerial meeting of the CSTO member-states held on the margins of the 26th OSCE Ministerial conference.

The Foreign Ministers of the CSTO member states touched upon the agenda of the 26th OSCE Ministerial conference highlighting the importance of coordinating the positions on the agenda issues and reciprocally supporting initiatives within the Organization.

Zohrab Mnatsakanyan emphasized that meetings in such format provide a good opportunity to address issues the European security faces and outline practical steps to overcome them.

The Foreign Ministers exchanged views on the process of implementation of the decisions adopted by the Organization during the recent meeting in Bishkek.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia briefed his CSTO counterparts on the meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan held under the auspices of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and in this context presented Armenia’s assessments on this process.
