Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanayan met with Irakli Garibashvili, the Minister of Defense of Georgia
28 February, 2020On February 28, the Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met with the delegation headed by Irakli Garibashvili, the Minister of Defense of Georgia.
The sides commended the high level of centuries-long friendly and good neighbourly relations, once again confirming the bilateral readiness to take steps towards enlarging and enriching the comprehensive agenda between Armenia and Georgia.
The Foreign Minister noted with satisfaction that Armenia and Georgia have a rich agenda of dialogue and cooperation at different levels, which is also conditioned by the military interrelation.
A number of regional issues were touched upon. Minister Mnatsakanyan briefed the Georgian side on the principled position and approaches of Armenia regarding the Nagorno Karabakh peace process. Both sides underscored that there is no alternative to the peace process.
