On February 5, Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian held a phone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

Following the contacts and phone conversations, the Foreign Ministers discussed in detail the issues of regional security and stability.

Foreign Ministers Aivazian and Lavrov touched upon the process of full implementation of the provisions of the November 9 Statement. Minister Aivazian particularly emphasized the importance of addressing the humanitarian situation on the ground in Artsakh.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. In this context, sides touched upon the schedule of the sectoral consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries.
