Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia received the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland

On March 11, Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Finland Kirsti Narinen, (residence in Helsinki) on the occasion of presenting the copies of her credentials.

The Foreign Minister congratulated Kirsti Narinen upon assuming the responsible mission and expressed hope that the newly appointed Ambassador will contribute to the further strengthening of the Armenian-Finnish friendly relations and the enhancement of the ongoing dialogue at different levels. 

The interlocutors reiterated their mutual willingness to undertake steps towards activating political dialogue, developing mutually beneficial cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats, and fully realizing the existing potential․

The parties touched upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with the special emphasis on the importance of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairmanship format. Both sides emphasized the importance of the urgent solution of the POWs issue and the stabilization of the humanitarian situation.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the issues of bilateral agenda, multi-sectoral cooperation, as well as collaboration on international platforms.
