On May 18, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Artak Apitonian received the Election Observation Mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights headed by Eoghan Murphy for the forthcoming snap parliamentary elections of June 20.

The Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized the important role of the mission during the election observation and commended the cooperation with OSCE/ODIHR in the election processes. 

Deputy Foreign Minister Apitonian reiterated the commitment of Armenia to hold fair and transparent elections in accordance with the European standards.
