Newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Sierra Leone presented the copy of his credentials to the Deputy Foreign Minister

On October 19, Armen Ghevondyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, received Alie Badara Kamara, newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Sierra Leone to Armenia, on the occasion of presenting the copy of his credentials (residence in Tehran).

Extending his congratulations to the first Ambassador of Sierra Leone to Armenia Ali Badara Kamara on his appointment, Armen Ghevondyan wished him success in his mission and expressed hope that the Ambassador would contribute to the development of relations between the two countries.

Expressing gratitude to the Deputy Minister, the Ambassador of Sierra Leone mentioned that he will make every effort to give a new impetus to the cooperation between Armenia and Sierra Leone. Both sides highlighted the importance of taking joint efforts to promote bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, information technology, etc.

During the meeting Armen Ghondyan comprehensively presented to the Ambassador the current situation around the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. In this context,  the importance of a full resumption of the NK peace process within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs was highlighted.
