On February 19, with the framework of the Munich Security Conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada Mélanie Joly.

The Foreign Ministers commended the effective cooperation based on mutual respect and common values of democracy, rule of law, protection of human rights. Minister Joly reiterated Canada’s support on the agenda of democratic reforms in Armenia.

Both sides expressed willingness to undertake practical steps aimed at strengthening the positive dynamic of the Armenian-Canadian relations.

During the conversation the Foreign Ministers also discussed a number of important issues on the international and regional agenda.
