On April 15, the Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Lavrov.

The interlocutors touched upon the preparatory works on the official visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan to Russia.  

During the conversation, the implementation process of the agreements reached through the Trilateral Statements of November 9, 2020, June 11 and November 26, 2021, was discussed.

The Ministers referred to the establishment of a commission on demarcation and border security between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Ararat Mirzoyan stressed the importance of the mediatory efforts of Russia, including as an OSCE  Minsk Group Co-Chair country. 

They exchanged views on regional and international security issues.
