On June 24, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan held a meeting with State Minister of Artsakh Artak Beglaryan.

The interlocutors discussed the situation in Artsakh following the Azerbaijani aggression of 2020, and the process of addressing the humanitarian issues.

In particular, reference was made to the efforts made in the international platforms to raise the rights of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, including the forcibly displaced population, and to solve the problems they face. In this context, Ararat Mirzoyan and Artak Beglaryan emphasized the necessity of international humanitarian organizations' unimpeded involvement on the ground in order to comprehensively and fully address the humanitarian and socio-economic consequences of the war.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects of a peaceful and fair settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, emphasizing the importance of mutual coordination of the efforts of Armenia and Artsakh.
