On June 29, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Repubilc of Benin to the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Akambi André Okounlola-Biaou (residence in Moscow) on the occasion of presenting the copy of his credentials.

The Deputy Foreign Minister congratulated Ambassador Okounlola-Biaou on the assumption of this position, wishing him productive work in the responsible activity for the benefit of the development and strengthening of relations between Armenia and Benin.

The interlocutors emphasized the need of taking steps towards the formation and expansion of cooperation in a number of areas of mutual interest. Both sides highly appreciated the positive experience of collaboration between Armenia and Benin on various international platforms, including within the framework of the International Organization of La Francophonie.
