Meeting with the հeads of diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia regarding STARMUS Festival

On July 11, a meeting with the հeads of diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The program and planned events of the forthcoming STARMUS VI International Festival to be held in Armenia this September, were presented during the meeting.

Welcoming the guests, Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan emphasized the importance of the STARMUS International Festival to be held in Yerevan, as the first international scientific festival held in the region, which will host around 100k visitors.

Astrophysicist Garik Israelian, the founder of STARMUS Festival, in  his turn, noted that around five dozen world-famous scientists, including Nobel prize winners, engineers and astronauts, world stars of music and art, will participate in the event.

Heads of diplomatic missions present at the meeting had the opportunity to address their questions to the organizers about the festival.

Reference. STARMUS is an international festival associated with Stephen Hawking, Brian May, Alexey Leonov and other world-famous names. The STARMUS I festival was first held in 2011 in the Canary Islands (Spain), then in Norway and Switzerland. The Festival combines science, education, art and technology and aims to popularize science through art for humanity.
