On September 8, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received Stephen Nix, Director of the Eurasian regional program of International Republican Institute.

Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized that the strengthening of democracy, ensuring the rule of law, the fight against corruption, increasing the transparency and accountability of state bodies are the priorities of the Armenian Government. In this regard, the continuous effective cooperation with IRI in the above-mentioned directions was underlined.

Stephen Nix referred to the programs implemented by IRI in Armenia. He noted that they will continue to support the process of democratic reforms in the country.
