On September 21, Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, who is participating in the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, had a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Nicaragua, Denis Moncada.

Both parties noted the readiness to develop cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The interlocutors referred to the prospects of deepening collaboration on multilateral platforms.

Sides also discussed a number of issues of international agenda.

Ararat Mirzoyan presented to the interlocutor the consequences of the military aggression of Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, underlining the importance of the adequate response of the international community to the aggressor and elimination of the consequences of aggression.
