Political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Kazakhstan

On October 7, political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Kazakhstan were held in Yerevan. The Armenian delegation was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan, the Kazakh side by Deputy Foreign Minister Yermukhambet Konuspaev.

During the consultations, a wide range of issues on the agenda of bilateral relations and cooperation on multilateral platforms in the Eurasian region were discussed.

Regional security problems and urgent issues of the international agenda were also touched upon. In this context, Mnatsakan Safaryan briefed upon the situation resulting from Azerbaijan's recent large-scale aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia, emphasizing the inadmissibility of the policy adopted by Azerbaijan to achieve its own maximalist aspirations with the use of force and threat of use of force.
