On May 16 in Reykjavik Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos.

Views were exchanged on the advancement of the bilateral political agenda, as well as issues of cooperation on multilateral platforms.

Regional stability and security issues were touched upon. Ararat Mirzoyan briefed his counterpart on the recent developments in the normalisation process of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the principal positions of the Armenian side on the main issues in the negotiations. In the context of the comprehensive settlement, among other issues, the importance of addressing the rights and security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh was emphasised.
