On 8-9 June, the 30th meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Heads of Consular Services of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CIS member states was held under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan, with the participation of the Republics of Armenia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and the Russian Federation. The Armenian side was represented by Artak Avetisyan, the Head of the MFA Consular Department.

The agenda of the meeting included the issues regarding the implementation of the  1963 Vienna Convention on Consular Relations’ provisions, cooperation between the parties within the framework of the 1993 Minsk Convention and the 2002 Chisinau Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters, digitisation of consular services, provision of electronic communications and implementation of consular training programs.
