On June 30, Paruyr Hovhannisyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs received Kumar Iyer, Director General, Economics, Science and Technology at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on bilateral agenda, commending the constructive dialogue between the two countries and emphasizing the importance of the further development of relations in the areas of mutual interest. The significance of practical steps towards the launch of the announced strategic dialogue between Armenia and the United Kingdom was emphasized. Touching upon the importance of intensifying the economic ties, the sides expressed readiness to take active steps towards strengthening and expanding them.

The parties discussed the possibilities of cooperation within the international organizations.
