On August 31, acting Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan received Igor Khovaev, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair of the Russian Federation, the Special Representative of Foreign Minister of Russia on the issues supporting the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The unfolded humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the efforts towards overcoming it, were discussed during the meeting.

In terms of establishing stability in the region, the need to adhere to the provisions of the Trilateral statement of November 9, 2020, as well as to unblock the Lachin corridor, was reiterated.
