Ararat Mirzoyan briefed his interlocutor on the details of the large-scale aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh in the morning of the same day, noting that Azerbaijan is targeting civilian infrastructure resulting in casualties among civilians.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia emphasized the urgency of clear calls and steps by the UN and its agencies to prevent mass atrocity crime by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh. The importance of ensuring humanitarian access to Nagorno-Karabakh was also emphasized.
