On October 3, regular political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands were held in Yerevan.

The consultations were held by Paruyr Hovhannisyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia and Erica Schouten, Deputy Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.

Paruyr Hovhannisyan briefed his interlocutor on the details of the situation resulting from Azerbaijan's aggressive policy and ethnic cleansing of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the international political and humanitarian components of the situation.

The Deputy Minister emphasized the imperative of preventing further use of force by Azerbaijan, excluding provocations towards the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Armenia, and stressed the importance of joint steps by international partners in this direction.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of Armenian-Dutch relations and touched upon the Armenia-EU partnership and cooperation within international organizations.
