On October 23, 2023, the Russian Federal TV "Channel One Russia" aired a television program which included offensive and absolutely unacceptable statements addressed to high-ranking officials of the Republic of Armenia. In this connection, Sergey Kopyrkin, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

During the meeting, a corresponding note of protest was transmitted to the Ambassador.
