On December 18, a reception was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia with the participation of diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia.

Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan delivered remarks summing up the year. The foreign political developments in the past period and the vision of the Republic of Armenia in overcoming the existing challenges were touched upon.

It was emphasized that the year 2023 was also full of challenges, and despite all the warnings of Armenia and prevention efforts, Nagorno-Karabakh was subjected to ethnic cleansing. It was noted that Armenia continues to take steps towards addressing the needs and rights of the people displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.

Touching upon the progress achieved in different directions, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed appreciation to the members of the central apparatus of the MFA and the diplomatic missions of Armenia accredited abroad for the activities in 2023, as well as thanked the diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia for the close cooperation.
