On 14 February, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan received Pichkhun Panha, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Moscow), on the occasion of handing over the copy of his credentials.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan congratulated the newly appointed Ambassador on assuming his duties, wishing him a fruitful and effective tenure.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the possibilities of fully utilizing the untapped potential of cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, particularly in trade and economy, business relations, tourism, education, and other spheres as well. The parties expressed willingness to make efforts to expand the bilateral legal framework.

The sides discussed the issues of maintaining and deepening the positive dynamics of cooperation in the framework of international organizations, including efforts towards condemnation and prevention of genocides. The prospects of close cooperation within the International Organization of La Francophonie were also touched upon.
