On April 15, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received Shoayb Casoo, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to the Republic of Armenia (residence in Kiev), on the occasion of handing over the copy of credentials.

Deputy Minister Vahan Kostanyan  congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment, wishing him success in his mission. He expressed hope that the Ambassador would contribute to the development of relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Casoo conveyed his gratitude to the Deputy Minister and emphasized his commitment of strengthening the collaboration between Armenia and South Africa during his tenure. Both sides stressed the necessity for deepening co-work in the areas of mining, information technologies, diamond processing and winemaking as well as enhancing cooperation in the fields of science, education and sport.
