Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina

On May 9, political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina were held in Sarajevo. The delegations were represented by the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina Josip Brkić.

The parties underlined the first-ever political consultations between the Foreign Ministries of two countries. The interlocutors touched upon the issues of possible cooperation in various fields, the establishment of bilateral legal framework, as well as the cooperation within the framework of international organizations.

The interlocutors discussed the latest developments in the Western Balkans and in the South Caucasus. The Deputy Foreign Minister Hovhannisyan briefed his counterpart on Armenia's position on the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and elaborated on the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Within the framework of political consultations, Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan had meetings with the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nebojša Radmanović, as well as with other parliamentarians.
