On May 16, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had a meeting with Irena Voyachkova-Solorano, the Deputy Director General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs touched upon the ongoing reforms in Armenia in the field of migration, including the steps taken towards digitalization.

The efforts of the Organization aimed at addressing humanitarian issues of forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh were highly appreciated.

Irena Voyachkova-Solorano stressed the effectiveness of the reforms carried out in Armenia in the field of migration and noted that the Organization, in turn, is ready to contribute to further effective implementation through close cooperation.
