The meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia with the President of the Hauts-de-Seine of France
27 May, 2024On May 27, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received the delegation headed by Georges Siffredi, the President of the Hauts-de-Seine of France.
The interlocutors discussed issues оf the multi-layered bilateral partnership between Armenia and France, including decentralized cooperation.
Minister Mirzoyan noted that the Armenian-French relations are developing effectively in a number of key areas, in different levels and formats.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia noted that along with the high level of political dialogue projects are implemented which are aimed at fostering the resilience of Armenia and ensuring tangible results for the beneficiaries of specific programs. In this context, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the President of the Hauts-de-Seine Department touched upon ongoing projects of decentralized cooperation and prospects for further expansion.
Stressing that the economic development and capacity building of the bordering regions of Armenia are one of the imperatives of the Government of Armenia, minister Mirzoyan noted that Armenia values the cooperation of the Hauts-de-Seine Department with the Tavush region as well as Georges Siffredi's personal contribution in that direction. Ararat Mirzoyan also presented the consequences of the floods in the northern regions of Armenia, including Tavush.
