On June 14, Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan received Robert Sinclair, the Director General for Arctic, Eurasian and European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Canada.

The Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated the readiness of Armenia to further enhance the bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, issues on the bilateral agenda and regional developments were touched upon.

Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan presented the details regarding the efforts of the Government of Armenia towards establishing stable peace in the South Caucasus, touched upon the delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan based on the principles of the Alma-Ata Declaration, and introduced the Crossroads of Peace project.

Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan highly appreciated Canada’s support to the sovereignty, territorial integrity and democracy of the Republic of Armenia.
