On June 24, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with Mohammad Mustafa, Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the State of Palestine.

The Prime Minister of Palestine expressed his gratitude for the principled approach shown by Armenia regarding the recognition of Palestine.

The Foreign Minister of Armenia emphasized that the decision of the Republic of Armenia derives from its consistent position regarding the importance of supporting the settlement of the conflict on the basis of the "two-state" principle and the resolution of the situation which has cost many human lives.

Issues of the development of bilateral relations and political dialogue were touched upon.
