Meeting with the delegation of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Netherlands

On July 8, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan received the delegation of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Kingdom of Netherlands.

The parties commended the current high level of bilateral relations between Armenia and the Netherlands and the political dialogue dynamics, emphasizing the role of inter-parliamentary diplomacy in the development of bilateral relations.

Paruyr Hovhannisyan expressed his gratitude for the resolutions and motions adopted by the Parliament of the Netherlands regarding high priority issues for Armenia. It was also underscored that Armenia highly appreciates the continuous support of the Netherlands to the democratic reforms in Armenia.

The Deputy Minister briefed on Armenia’s vision for achieving sustainable peace in the South Caucasus and the "Crossroads of Peace" project developed by the Armenian Government. The parties also discussed the latest developments in the process of normalization of the Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, as well as delimitation and signing of the peace treaty.

The interlocutors exchanged views on a wide range of issues related to the development of the Armenian-Dutch relations and touched upon the Armenia-EU partnership.
